He was the loving and affectionate husband to Janice Mitchell for 48 years. He was the best friend and confidante to his three children, Jackie, Jack and Micky. He was the most fun play date, and partner in crime that any of his eight grandchildren could have ever wanted. And even though his heart was not strong enough to keep him here with us, it was more than capable of providing unconditional and accepting love and friendship to all he met. He was a quietly generous man, with a laugh that could not only be heard, but felt, anywhere he was. In keep with the positive, joyful way he lived his life, his memorial services will be held daily in the hearts, minds, and souls of his family and friends as they remember to celebrate this remarkable man. And most importantly to him, he will be continuously honored through the loving and caring lives his children and grandchildren lead for all the years to come. Jack, Dad, Paw Paw, Pops, Captain - you truly left this earth a better place and for that you will be missed more than you could ever imagine. ===================
