PATANIA, GRANT CHRISTOPHER 
(December 24, 1941 - December 14, 2010)

GRANT CHRISTOPHER PATANIA, known to all as Chris, passed away on December 14, 
2010 after a long battle with cancer. 

He was the beloved husband of Rose Maddox Patania. Step-father of Lisa Namias 
and Henry Namias (Carrah). Step-grandfather of James Namias and Christopher 
Lloyd. He leaves behind to cherish many good memories, his brothers, Michael 
Patania and Dennis Patania (Vicky); his sisters, Martha P. Alexander, Rosanne P 
Minke (Bob) and Donna P. McQueen and many nieces and nephews. 

He was a kind and loving man and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. 
He was employed by Lee's Inventions where Nancy and William Lee treated him like 
family. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ethel Grant Patania and Dominick 
Patania; his brothers, Dominick, Jr. and Ronnie Patania; his sister, Annette 
Donna Patania; his nephew, Michael D. Patania, Jr. and his brother-in-laws 
Charles R. McQueen and Copeland Alexander. 

Special thanks to Lakeshore Hospice for all the wonderful care given to Chris, 
especially the nurses that helped take care of him "God's Angels". 

You're at peace now Chris, no more suffering. God, take care of this good man! 

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at 
HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, 
LA on Thursday, December 16, 2010 from 3:00pm-5:00pm. Funeral services will 
follow at 5:00pm. Donations to: St. Tammany Humane Society is preferred, in lieu 
of flowers. Please
