Lloyd Carpenter, 57, of Slidell passed away Dec. 21, 2010. 

He is survived by his wife Simyou Carpenter of Slidell; one son, Lloyd Obey 
Carpenter Jr. of Atlanta, Ga.; four daughters, Eyounette Arnae Foster, Mija Je-
Raun Foster, Rona Toysun Carpenter and Cassie Lloyana Carpenter, both of 
Slidell; six brothers, Melamont Antone Carpenter of Minneapolis, Minn., Daniel 
Lee Carpenter of Minneapolis, James Jonathan Carpenter of Cleveland, Ohio, Bruce 
Wayne Carpenter of Minneapolis, Brian Walters Carpenter of Minneapolis and 
Joseph Allen Carpenter, also of Minneapolis; three sisters, Diana Lynn Carpenter 
of Seattle, Wash., Cherleigh Ann Carpenter Lawler of Minneapolis and Anjela Rene 
Williams of Atlanta and grandson, Azaan Ezekiel Carpenter. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Christina Barbara Carpenter; father, 
Henry H. Carpenter; daughter, Christina Carpenter; brother, Larry Leon Carpenter 
and granddaughter Keynde Danjelle Nuarej Brown.

Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral services at 10 a.m. today at 
the Living the Word International, 1000 Caruso Blvd., Suite 401, Slidell. 
Interment will be in the Slidell Memorial Cemetery.
