BATISTE

Alex "Porky" Batiste Jr., age 43, departed this earthly life and entered into 
eternal rest Sunday Feb. 6, 2011, at Louisiana Medical Center in Lacombe. 

He was the beloved husband of Coradena Landor Batiste of 22 years; father of 
Jeremy, Chantae and Ariel Batiste; son of Hazel Montana Couzian and the late 
Alex Batiste Sr.; stepson of Leonard Couzian and brother of Cheryl Batiste, 
Regina Batiste and Pamela Roberts. 

He is survived by three grandchildren, Jeremy Jr., Byron Jr., and Kamarie; 
sister-in-law Whilamena Ducre (Paul); four brothers-in-law Eric Robres, Charles 
Schneider Jr., and Scott and Nickey Landor and sister-in-law Delilah Landor. He 
is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives and 
friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at 11 a.m. 
tomorrow at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 28088 Maint St., Lacombe. Visitation 
is from 9 - 11 a.m. 
Interment will be in Williams II Cemetry. 

Richardson Funeral Home of St. Tammany in charge of arrangements.
