JOYCE FRANCES ERATO BRAQUET, passed away quietly in the company of her family on 
Sunday, February 13, 2011 at the age of 84. 

Native of New Orleans, longtime resident of Arabi and currently residing in 
Slidell after being displaced by Katrina. 

Beloved wife of Frederick B. "Red" Braquet, Jr. for the past 66 years. Loving 
mother of Frederick B. Braquet, III, Jeanne B. Petone, Stephen J. Braquet and 
Deborah B. Delaune. Daughter of the late Stephen Erato and Jeanne Cousin Erato.
Sister of Ray and Warren Erato and the late Madolin Diket, Doris Moore and John 
Erato.
Also survived by 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren, 1 step-grandson and a 
host of nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), 
Slidell, LA on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 2:00pm. Visitation will be on 
Thursday from 10:00am until 2:00pm. Interment will be held privately.
