BROWN, BETTY DUBUISSON 
(May 1, 1933 - February 20, 2011)

BETTY DUBUISSON BROWN, of Big Branch, LA, went to be with the Lord, on Sunday, 
February 20, 2011 at the Louisiana Heart Hospital in Lacombe, LA.

Beloved wife of Richard F. Brown, III for the past 59 years. Mother of Gwendolyn 
B. Sheffield (Larry), Richard F. Brown, IV, Susan B. Jordan (Courtney), Michelle 
B. Camp (Bryan), Julia B. Reese (Rory) and the late Michael D. Brown and David 
Brown. Daughter of the late Frank and Clara Dubuisson. Sister of Blanche D. 
Roques, Paul Dubuisson and the late Rosalie D. Powe and Francis, Perry, Sylvan 
and Edward Dubuisson.

Also survived by 14 grandchildren and spouses, 5 great grandchildren and 
numerous nieces and nephews.

Age 77 years; a native of Slidell, LA and a resident of Big Branch, LA for the 
past 59 years. 

Mrs. Brown was an active parishioner and former member of the parish council of 
Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Mandeville. She was a retired Teacher's-
Aide at Southeast School in Mandeville, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at 
Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 312 Lafitte Street, Mandeville, LA on 
Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 11:00am. Visitation will be held at the church 
from 10:00am until mass time. Interment will be private. 

Donations to: Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church at the above address is 
preferred, in lieu of flowers.
