DUSANG, of New Orleans, LA and most recently of Slidell, LA, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2011. Beloved mother of Marc Dusang and wife Robin of New Orleans, LA, Susan Dusang Lemmon and her late husband Charles "Chuck" Lemmon of Slidell, LA and Bonnie Dusang Champagne and husband Allen of Slidell, LA. Also survived by 8 grandchildren; Eric Dusang (Christine), Scott Dusang (Claudia), Jason Champagne, James Lamz (Nicole), David Champagne, Kevin Dusang, Allyson Champagne and Robert Dusang; and 7 great grandchildren, Chloe, Emma, Christopher, Carter, Nicolas, Maegan and Caleb. Age 87 years; a native of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and a resident of the New Orleans area for the past 65 years. Mrs. Dusang was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Slidell and formerly a member of Gentilly Presbyterian Church. She was a retired Credit Analyst for Shell Oil Credit Union and former member and Past President of AARP New Orleans East Chapter. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial service at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124 on Monday, February 7, 2011 at 3:00pm. Interment will be held privately at a later date in Metairie Cemetery. Rev. Barbara Thursby will officiate. The family of Mrs. Dusang would like to extend their sincere appreciation to JoAnn's Golden Girls, JoAnn, Nan, Heather and Jody for the loving care they extended to our mother for the last few months of her life.
