Beloved husband of Julia Jeansonne Gahn for 51 years. Father of Alfred Gahn (Karen), Dr. David Gahn (Julie), Cynthia Mitcham (Richard) and Dr. Laura Gahn (Patti). Also survived by 6 grandchildren. Son of the late Alfred E. and Cecile Constantin Gahn. Age 75 years. A native of Lafayette, LA and a resident of Covington, LA for the past 42 years. He graduated from Cathedral High School in Lafayette and attended SLI in Lafayette. He was a Korean War veteran having served as a Radio Operator in the Marine Corp. He was a charter member of the St. Tammany Woodworkers Guild and a member of the Bayou Woodturners Association. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial mass at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 20307 Smith Rd., Covington, LA 70435 on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Fr. Jonathan DeFrange officiating. Visitation, AT THE CHURCH, from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment in St. John Cemetery, 515 Cathedral St., Lafayette, LA 70501 on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Deacon Paul Matte officiating.
