NORMA MARGARET HELMKE, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2011 in Paducah, Ky.

Companion of Vickie G. Campos for the past 42 years. Daughter of the late John 
Henry Helmke and Norma Corcoran Helmke. Sister of John Henry Helmke, Jr. 
(Margaret) and Robert Louis Helmke(Kay).

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and her beloved pets, Daisy, Meaux Jeaux 
and Edithanne.

Age 81 years. A native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of Slidell and a 
resident of Paducah since Hurricane Katrina. 

She was an Advisory Systems Engineer with IBM for 40 years. She was a member and 
founder of Proponents of Animal Welfare in St. Tammany,(PAWS) and many other 
animal welfare organizations. She was an avid Saints and Notre Dame fan who 
never missed a game.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services 
at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), 
Slidell, LA on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at 11:00 A.M.

Interment in Metairie Cemetery.

Visitation on Tuesday evening from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and on Wednesday after 
10:00 A.M. until funeral time.
