LAP

Gerald Lap, 78, of Slidell and Lisle, Ill., passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 
2011.

He was the husband of the late Marilyn Edwards Lap and father of Lisa Giarratano 
(Donnie, Jr.) and Gina Kahl(James). He is also survived by five grandchildren, 
Donnie, Katie, Lauren, Emily and Jimmy.

He was the devoted companion of Marguerite "Maggie" Sorrels.

He was a graduate of Tulane University and USL, and served in the U.S. Army.

He was native of New York City, N.Y. and Homestead, Fla.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date in Chicago, Ill.

Donations to the American Heart Association are preferred, in lieu of flowers.
