Melissa Lynn Rucker Monaghan, age 24, of Slidell, passed away Thursday Feb. 10, 
2011. 

She is survived by her husband Shawn Monaghan; three children, Gavin Rucker, 
Connor Rucker, and Kaiden Monaghan; her parents Bolling Rucker and Judy Clark-
Rucker; one brother Michael Rucker (Joanna); her mother-in-law Susan Boe and her 
brother-in-law Christopher Comeaux (Rebecca). She is also survived by numerous 
relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today from the chapel of D.T. Williams 
Funeral Home 67525 Hwy 41 Pearl River. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. 
until service time. Interment to follow at Hickory Memorial Gardens in Pearl 
River. Brother Blackwell to be officiating.
