WALTER WARREN "SQUIRT" PARKER, SR. , of Slidell, LA, passed away on Sunday, 
February 6, 2011 at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, AL. 

Beloved husband of the late Jeanne Terral "Tiny" Parker. Father of Kenneth O. 
Parker, Vanessa Carol McGee, Kim Purnell Brown, Brigitte Ann Parker and Walter 
Warren Parker, Jr. Son of the late Hosea and Margaret Parker. Brother of the 
late Hosea Albert "H.A." Parker. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 1 great 
grandchild.

Age 83 years, a native and lifelong resident of Slidell, LA; Mr. Parker served 
his country in the US Navy during the Korean War; He retired as a Postal Carrier 
in Slidell, LA, was a member of the First Baptist Church of Slidell and a 50 
year member of the Slidell Masonic Lodge No.311 F.& A.M.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 Gause Blvd. West, Slidell, LA on Saturday, 
February 12, 2011 at 12:00pm. Visitation will be from 10:00am until 12:00pm. 
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
