SEILER, GERALD L., SR.
(December 21, 1933 - February 2, 2011)

Gerald L. Seiler, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at age 77.

Beloved husband of Carol Rafferty Seiler. Loving father of Gretchen Mayeaux 
(Carl), Very Reverend Gerald L. Seiler, Jr. and Mary-Alice Guerrera (Darren) and 
Tricia LeBlanc (Andre). Son of the late Alice Schonacher Seiler and Oswald 
Lorenz Seiler. Brother of Sidney L. Seiler and the late Warren B. Seiler and 
Wesley S. Seiler. Grandfather of Matthew, Christian, Jeremy and Michael Mayeaux, 
Samuel, Benjamin, William Clay and John Henry Guerrera, Jacob and Nicholas 
LeBlanc.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph 
Abbey, 75376 River Rd., Covington, LA 70435 on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 
2:00 PM with visitation on Saturday at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st 
Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 from 11:00 AM until 1:30 PM.

Interment will follow in St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests Masses or donations in memory of Mr. 
Seiler be made to St. Joseph Abbey or the Discalced Carmelite Nuns of Covington.
