TAYLOR

Sheila Cockrell Taylor, age 56, of Irvington, Ala., passed away Feb. 4, 20100. 

She was born Oct. 10, 1954 In Pascagoula, Miss., to the late Jay and Goldilee 
Cockrell. 

Sheila was the former associate membr and secretary of the Rotary Club of 
Slidell; a member of the Young Women's Business Club and founder of the 
Pascagoula Chapter of The Mothers of Twins Club. She loved her family and 
enjoyed surrounding herself with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Dennis Cockrell. 

She is survived by her loving husband, James F. Taylor; her children, Dennis 
(Shawn) Taylor, Andrea (Drew) Taylor-Cheramie, Alicia (Keith) Taylor-Dugas and 
Adam Taylor; grandchildren, Christopher Duhon, Haleigh Taylor, D.J. Taylor, 
Hunter Cheramie, Devyn Dugas and Payton Taylor; sister Shirley Raughley and 
brother Ellis (Corkey) Cockrell. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, 
nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law and friends.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today from the chapel at Heritage Funeral 
Home in Moss Point, Miss. 

Interment will follow at the Jackson County Memorial Park Cemetery in Pascagoula 
with the Rev. Anthony Langley officiationg. 

Pallbearers will be Keith Dugas, Drew Cheramie, John Meredity, Cortney Meredith, 
Zackery Langley and Keith Martin. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Havard, 
Chance Schubert, David Harrington and Hayden Harrington. 

Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
