REBECCA ELIZABETH COLBERT, age 72, beloved mother, faithful friend, was taken 
home to be with God on March 19, 2011. 

Rebecca was born on December 9, 1938 in Gaylesville, Alabama. 

Rebecca was an avid hiker and camper. Her love for the outdoors took her all 
over the U.S. and abroad. She loved reading and spending time with her family. 

She is survived by her eight children: one son, Dennis William Dean, and seven 
daughters: Patricia, Sherry, Lola, Regina, Rebecca, Samantha and Wanda. 

She had eleven grandchildren, one great-grandson, and a brother, Michael 
Colbert. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Harold William Colbert and Lola Pearl 
Stewart. 

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at 12:00 noon at 
Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd. West, in Slidell 
Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 10:00am. 
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
