VIRGINIA PETTIT DECKELMAN, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 
2011, at Ochsner Northshore Medical Center, after a long illness.

Beloved Wife of: Michael W. "Mickey" Deckelman, III (Married 53 years) Mother 
of: Michael W. Deckelman, IV, and the late Robert M. Deckelman Grandmother of: 
Michael W. Deckelman, V and Matthew M. Deckelman. Daughter of the late: Lottie 
King Pettit and Paul King Pettit Sister of: Bobby P. Davis, John Paul Pettit, 
Nannie P. Givens, Brenda P. Orlando, and the late: Joseph P. Marquis, Ruby Mae 
"Dot" Crawford, and Robert F. Pettit.

Age: 71 years.

A native of Greenwood, MS and resident of Slidell for over 65 years. She was 
employed by Saralle's Grocery Store for 15 years and Slidell Memorial Hospital 
for 17 years as a Monitor Technician.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Services 
at PEACE GROVE BAPTIST CHURCH, on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 2:00 P.M.

Private Family Inurnment at at later date

All Visitation at the church on on Saturday from 12 Noon until service time.

Donations to: Peace Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 30509 Horse Shoe Island 
Road, St. Tammany, LA 70445, preferred, in lieu of flowers.
