Vivian was born on February 27, 1923 to Bernard and Lucille Jennings in New Orleans, LA where she lived most of her life. She resided in Mandeville for the past 12 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Harold DeShazo, Sr.; her infant daughter, Mary Ann; her parents; and her grandson, Craig DeShazo. She is survived and deeply missed by her 6 daughters, Rita Rivet (Urbin), Vivian Ours (Bob), Linda Barrios (Don), Lucille Stipe (Chris), Debbie Lynchard (Ronnie), and Darlene Norris (Richard); her 2 sons, Harold DeShazo, Jr. (Bonnie) and Jules DeShazo (Judy); her siblings, Dorothy Munsch and Rudell "Bro" Jennings; 13 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 7 step-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Vivian was a member of the Mandeville Ladies Club and The MBAA Club for the past 11 years. She liked to "pull handles" and play bingo. The family is grateful to Dr. Elizabeth White and the nurses of the St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington for the care and respect they provided during Vivian's final hours in this life. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA 70435 on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 12:00 noon. Visitation from 10:00 am until Mass time. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum, New Orleans, LA. ===================
