Esquinance, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at age 84. Beloved husband of 56 years to Betty Ruth Callihan Esquinance. Loving father of Paul "Dom" Esquinance, III (Judy), Bruce Esquinance (Debbie) and Dina Esquinance. Son of the late Floy Thibodaux Esquinance and Paul D. Esquinance, Sr. Grandfather of Brittany and Laurie Esquinance. Brother of Marjorie Esquinance, Vertie Young and the late Sister Gertrude Esquinance O.S.B., Emory Esquinance and August Esquinance. He was a native and lifelong resident of Mandeville, where he was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, a Maintenance Supervisor for Prestressed Concrete Products Company, Fire Chief of Mandeville Volunteer Fire Dept. and Fire District 4 from 1958-1976 and Alderman for Town of Mandeville from 1956-1960. Mr. Esquinance was also a U.S. Navy veteran of WW II. Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 312 Laffite St., Mandeville, LA 70448 on Friday, April 1, 2011 at 11:00 AM with visitation at church beginning at 10:00 AM. E.J. Fielding Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Interment will follow in Mandeville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests Masses in memory of Mr. Esquinance. ===================
