Joseph Fecher Sr., age 79, of Pearl River passed away Thursday March 3, 2011. 

Mr. Fecher was in the U.S. Army and was a racehorse trainer. 

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Fecher; four children, Nelda Newkirk, Jesse 
Romo Sr., Belinda Wallace and Joseph W. Fecher Jr., seven grandchildren, Jesse 
Romo Jr., Angelus Romo, Joshua Wallace, Katie Romo, Joseph Fecher III, Sophia 
Fecher and Myia Love and three great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Hayden and Landon 
Wallace.

Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday March 12 from the chapel of D.T. 
Williams Funeral Home, 67525 Louisiana Highway 41, Pearl River. Visitation will 
be from 11 a.m. until service time. 

Interment to follow at Hickory Memorial Gardens, 67525 Highway 41, Pearl River
