JAMES A. FOREST, JR., of Slidell, LA, went to be with Jesus after a lengthy 
illness on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 3:45am at Hood Memorial Hospital in Amite, 
LA.

Beloved son of James A. Forest, Sr. and Betty Cyrus Forest. Brother of Keith M. 
Forest (Lorna Babin Forest), Karen F. Dressel (Leon E. Dressel) and Kim F. Pope 
(Gary K. Pope). Uncle of Garrett and Gary Pope, Blake, Logan and Caroline 
Forest, Kristen Jernigan (Justin) and Lauren Dressel. Great uncle of Jude 
Jernigan.

Age 54 years; a native of Metairie, LA and a resident of Slidell for the past 4 
years. 

James was a graduate of East Jefferson High School and received his E.M.T. 
training through the American Red Cross and served on various movie and film 
sets throughout Louisiana. 

James was also an avid dog and animal lover. 

All services are being held privately. 

Donations to: American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org is preferred, in lieu of 
flowers.
