Beloved Husband of Alice Smith Green; Father of Cheryl Ausan (husband Allan), Kim Rogne (fiancˇ Troy Gould); Step- father of Don Smith Jr.(fiancˇ Danielle), Randy Smith (wife Adele), and Steven Smith (wife Lisa); Son of the late Everette and Vina Green; Brother of Ottis Green, Bill Green, and the late Pete Green; Also survived by eleven grandchildren: Chris Ausan (Monique), April Ausan, Kacey Rogne, Emily Rogne, Sean Smith (Lizzie), Heather Smith, Justin Smith, Ashley Smith, Nathan Smith, Savannah Smith, Austin Smith, and five great-grandchildren. Jim enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He dearly loved his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. Jim served his country bravely and proudly in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He loved painting, playing cards, going to the casino and taking care of his birds. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. Funeral Services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Monday, March 7, 2011 at 11:00 A.M.
