THOMAS GUARINE, age 83, passed away on March 21, 2011, after a long struggle 
with Pulmonary Fibrosis. 

Beloved husband of Ruby Guidry Guarine for 60 years and loving father of five 
daughters: Janet Taylor, Bonnie Eades, Tommie Sue Miller, Patricia Antoine and 
Angela Carter. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great-
grandchildren, four brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. 

"Tommy" was born in Scranton, PA and resided in St. Bernard Parish for over 
thirty years until Hurricane Katrina when he migrated to St. Tammany Parish. He 
retired from Union Texas Petroleum after 39 years of dedicated service as Plant 
Maintenance Supervisor. 

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and everyone who knew him as 
well. 

Visitation will be at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1050 Robert Blvd, 
Slidell LA, on Friday, March 25, 2011 at 10:00am where friends and family are 
invited. 

Following visitation, Rev. Thomas Kiasara will officiate over a Funeral Mass 
beginning at 12:00 noon. 
Interment will take place at Hillcrest Road Baptist Church Cemetery in Carriere, 
MS.
