Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/sttammany/obits/dateobits/2011/st1103.htm and click to view list of photos. ========== Robert "Bob" Elliott Hafkesbring, Jr. passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2011, after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's Disease, at the age of 72. Bob was born to the late Robert and Marie Hafkesbring on September 21, 1938 in Houma, LA. He married Betty Hotard in 1964 and they lived together in Metairie, LA before relocating to Covington in 2007. Bob retired from Entergy in 1993 after 29 years and always demonstrated a strong work ethic. Bob was a member of the Elk's Lodge Hunting and Fishing Club for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for fishing and hunting. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy for six years and was a Veteran of the Cuban Missile Crisis. Bob is survived by his wife Betty H. Hafkesbring; four children, Karen Hafkesbring of Covington; Steven Hafkesbring of Destrehan; Robert Hafkesbring, III. of Arlington, Texas; and Rhett Hafkesbring of Dallas, Texas. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA 70435 on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 3:00 pm. Visitation from 1:00 pm until service time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson Research Foundation ===================
