Beloved wife of the late Calvin Hansbrough. Mother of Calla Walker (T.P), Isabel Hansbrough (Dick Wicker), Therese Maggio (Kenneth) and the late Marietta Prieto (Ernest). Marietta "Memaw" is survived by her grandchildren: Malise Prieto (Rick), Clay Prieto (Roslyn), Ernie Prieto (Cindy), Christopher Walker (Kelly), Melissa Spence (Garry), Beth Assaf, Catherine Humphries (John), Kenneth Maggio (Kathy), Jay Maggio (Jennifer); Zan Prieto and 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Therese and Carl Friedrichs. Twin sister of the late Mildred Charles. Her other siblings were the late Eugenie "Jinx" LeDoux, Carl Friedrichs, Hilda Friedrichs, Katherine "Chubby" Poole, Sam Friedrichs, Elaine Douglas, Louis G. Friedrichs. Survived by her sister Dixie Robinson. Age 95 years. A native of New Orleans and a resident of Mandeville, LA for the past 80 years. She was an avid gardener who loved the outdoors and served as president of the Golden Shores Garden Club. She was also active in Our Lade of the Lake School serving as president of the Mother's Club. She was a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake and Mary Queen of Peace. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Visitation from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment in Mandeville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to St. Tammany Humane Society. ===================
