John Daniel Hogan passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011. He was born December 11, 
1953 in Portsmouth, VA to Dorothy Coleman Hogan and the late Mark E. "Mickey" 
Hogan. His childhood through early adulthood was spent in Algiers, LA and he was 
currently a resident of Alvin, TX.

The beloved husband of Daphne Hymel Hogan, he is survived by four daughters: 
Nicole Marie Hogan, Jessica Hogan Montanez (Eddie), Katherine Michelle Hogan and 
Rachel Ann Gardner (Tim); his son, Daniel Mark Hogan; two sisters, Charlotte H. 
Miller and Judy H. Cantwell and three grandchildren: Garion Lee Delgado, Abigail 
Dorothy McCullars and Isabella Alexius Montanez.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 
21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.

Visiting hours will begin Tuesday at 10:00 AM.

Interment at the M.A. Coleman Memorial Cemetery in Grove Hill, AL will take 
place Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 1:00 PM.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 
Santa Fe Christian Church, 13602 FM Rd 1764, Santa Fe, TX 77517.
