She was born in Frankfurt, Germany to Patricia Griffin Moulis and the late Wallace James Moulis. She is survived by her husband of 38 years Sam Hollier. Jean is survived by daughter Katie Smith(Tripp); son Brian Hollier(Katie Chou); 4 grandsons, Tommy, Taft, Turner Smith and Sammy Hollier. She is also survived by sisters Mary Jane Bredemus, Stephanie Spees and brothers, Jim, Mike and John Moulis. As a child and wife of a military family, she lived extensively throughout the country. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a BSN in nursing. Jean's career included working at Country Day Preschool, New Orleans Baptist Seminary and most recently, at Ochsner Medical Center North Shore. She was a dedicated Marine Corps wife and enjoyed volunteering at St. Margaret Mary Elementary School, Pope John Paul II High School and Slidell Teen Fashion Board Sponsor. She loved spending time with her Pokeno group, her coworkers, vacationing with family, dancing with her husband and listening to music. She was a parishoner of St Luke's Catholic Church. Memorial Mass will be held at St Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, 910 Cross Gates Blvd., Slidell at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2011. The family will receive friends at 2:00 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St Jude's Childrens Research Hospital. ===================
