He was born one of 15 children to the late McKinnley Moore and Fannie Allen Moore Aug. 12, 1954. He was a native of St. Joe, and went to school at Alton Elementary and St. Tammany High School. After St. Tammany High, he worked with his mother at the White Kitchen, a restaurant in Slidell. Later, he moved to Houston, Texas, and there he met and married Vanessa Beane, his wife of 30 years. During his stay in Texas, Arthur was a truck driver, and along with his wife, was owner of several small businesses. Arthur leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Vanessa; three children, William of Dallas Texas, McArthur of August, Texas, and Salita Moore of Baton Rouge; three grandchildren, Quanesha, Reghle and Elijah Moore, all of Texas; five sisters, Lubertah Hudnall of Gulfport, Miss., JoAnn McGill, Virginia Moore, Inez Moore and Dalsy Sanders, all of Pearl River; seven brothers, Can Moore of North Carolina, Darris, David, Larry, Clifton, Brian and Edward Moore of Pearl River, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Arthur was preceded in death by one sister, Hattie Jackson and his mother and father. Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral services at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Doyle's Funeral Home, 2430 Fourth St., Slidell, with Pastor Wayne Evans of the Church of God of Prophecy officiating. Visitation will be from noon to 1:45 p.m. ===================
