Anna Latapie Nicosia passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at the age of 79. 

Anna was a native of St. Bernard, LA and a resident of Covington, LA since 
Hurricane Katrina. 

Wife of the late Lawrence "Peanut" Nicosia, Sr. Mother of Sandra Freeland, 
Lorrie Blappert, and Lawrence "Michael" Nicosia, Jr. Daughter of the late 
Theresa and Louis Latapie. Sister of Joseph "Canoe" Latapie and the late Lucille 
Delatte, Louise "Milo" Theaux, Milton Latapie, Theresa Denoux, and Louis "Cop" 
Latapie. Grandmother of Joshua Naquin, Heather Blappert Stansbury, Lorenzo 
Nicosia, and Giovanni Nicosia.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Our Lady of 
Lourdes Catholic Church, 2621 Colonial Blvd. Violet, LA 70092 on Saturday, March 
19, 2011. Visitation from 11:00 a.m. until 12 p.m. Mass will follow visitation. 
Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Diabetes Association
