FLORENCE BROUSSARD ROY, 71, of Slidell, LA on Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at 
Slidell Memorial Hospital.

Beloved Wife of Donald E. Roy; Mother of Donna Terry (husband Mike), Judith 
Elaine Bourgeois (husband Geary), Barry Roy (wife Wende), and the late Phillip 
Roy (late wife Linda), and Steven Roy. Daughter of the late Adam Broussard and 
Ella Guidry Theriot;
Sister of Mary Davis, Cogie Vincent, and the late Reed Broussard; Also survived 
by 12 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and dear friends Barbara Ferguson 
and LeGrande Ferguson.

A native of Lake Arthur, Louisiana, a resident of Chalmette for seven years, and 
a resident of Slidell since 1970. She was an active member and past president of 
the St. Bernard Jaynes, and was involved with the Miss Louisiana Pageant for 
many years. She was co-owner of Roy Bingo Supplies. Mrs. Roy loved to travel , 
and was very active in her Pokeno group with eleven dear friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. A Funeral 
Mass will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN 
CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 1:00 P.M.
Interment will be in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 11:00am
