EMILIO ARMIREZ, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the age of 84. 

He was born on January 5, 1927 in Guatemala City, Guatemala. He is the beloved 
husband of Raquel Armirez for the past 40 years. Father of Anna "Nenet" Borden 
(Earl), Carol Claret (Brian) and Emily Armirez. Grandfather of Earl "Petie" 
Borden, Ryan Borden. Great grandfather of Emma Borden. He was a retired 
Longshoreman for the New Orleans Port and was a member of The Church of Jesus 
Christ of Latter-day Saints. 

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 112 Rue Esplanade, Slidell, 
LA 70461 on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 11:00am. 
Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00am until 11:00am. 

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society
