BERNICE A. BRITTON, of Slidell, LA, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, 
April 12, 2011 at Slidell Memorial Hospital.

Beloved mother of Elaine R. White and husband Robert of Dickson, TN, Larry 
Britton and wife Nancy of New Port Richey, FL, Carol Larner of Cocoa, FL and the 
late Ann Dalzell. Daughter of the late Orson and Ruth Lewis.
Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and preceded in death by 
1 great grandchild.

Age 87 years; a native of Carmel, NY and a resident of Slidell for the past 29 
years. 

Mrs. Britton was a retired Teacher's Assistant in the Carmel School District and 
was a member of First United Methodist Church of Slidell, LA, the Pistol's and 
Petticoats Square Dance group and the XYZ group. .

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), 
Slidell, LA on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 2:00pm. Visitation will be from 
12:00pm until 2:00pm. 
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. 

Donations to: The American Heart Association at www.heart.org is preferred, in 
lieu of flowers.
