BUCKLEY

Henry G. Buckley of Slidell was called home at Slidell Memorial Hospital on 
Monday from natural causes. 

Buckley was an active elder of the Tchfuncta Nation-Chahta Tribe at the age of 
79.

A resident of Slidell, Buckley served with his community with honor, courage and 
dignity. While he was employed by several businesses throughout St. Tammany 
Parish, he enjoyed working at Doyle's Funeral Home, the St. Tammany Parish 
School Board and St. Tammany Parish Sheriff Office.

He was the husband of Earnestine Alexandra Buckley, father of 11 children, 25 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Mt. Olive A. M. E. Church, 2457 Second St. Slidell 
tomorrow from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral services will begin immediately 
following visitation.
