CAPT. ROBERT V. CALLAHAN, of Slidell, LA on Monday, April 25, 2011.
Beloved Husband of the late Mary Ellen Callahan;
Father of Robin Callahan Risher and the late Capt. Robert Callahan Jr.;
Brother of: Roger Callahan, Don Callahan, Jean Flannery, Emma Proper, Sally Boyd 
and the late David Callahan, John Callahan, William Callahan, Francis Callahan, 
James Callahan; Also survived by two grandchildren, Chad Risher, and Taylor 
Risher. Age: 87 years.

A native of Dover Plains, New York, and a resident of Slidell for over 45 years, 
Captain Callahan spent 16 years on the Slidell City Council, and was retired 
from NASA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. A Funeral 
Mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Slidell, LA on Monday, 
May 2, 2011 at 11:00 A.M.

Burial will be in Biloxi National Cemetery on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at 11:00am.

Friends may visit at the church on Monday beginning at 10:00am.
