Edmund "Ed" James Eastman, Sr. entered Heaven on Monday, April 18, 2011 at the 
age of 84, after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer. 

Ed was born in Philadelphia, PA, he was a former resident of New Orleans and 
resided in Mandeville, LA for the past 14 years. 

Beloved husband of Joyce Bolline Eastman for the past 47 years. Loving father of 
Mary Eastman Hart, Elizabeth Eastman Villemez, and Edmund "Jimmy" Eastman, Jr. 
Devoted grandfather of Austin Hart, Cooper Hart, Joey Villemez, and Jennifer 
Villemez. Great grandfather of Evan James Nelson. 

Preceded in death by his parents, Kathleen Toye Eastman and George Eastman, III; 
his siblings, George Eastman, IV, John Eastman, and Patsy Eastman Johnson. Ed 
will be sadly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Mandeville 
First Baptist Church, 1895 Highway 190, Mandeville, LA 70448 on Friday, April 
22, 2011 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be held at the church from 11:00 am until 
service time. 
Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Care Hospice
