Garner

Marsha Ann Crowe Wyatt Garner, 52, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2011. 

She was a devoted wife and mother of four children, one step-daughter, five 
grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Odell 
Crowe and the late T.J. Crowe of Bogalusa. She is survived by her husband, 
Charles Garner; one brother, Robert Holliday of Hammond, LA; and two sisters, 
Mary Lavigne of Hammond, LA and Brenda McElveen of Hawesville, KY. 
Her children are Daniel Keith Boutwell of LaGrange, KY, Elisha Taylor of Monroe, 
LA, Samantha Wyatt and Madison Wyatt of Lacombe, LA. Her step-daughter is 
Heather Garner of Mobile, AL. 

She was a registered nurse who worked most of her career at Children's Hospital 
in New Orleans taking care of critically ill children, work that she dearly 
loved. She was the director of the Quality Assurance department and also 
original director of the Greater New Orleans Immunization Network at Children's 
Hospital. She also worked at Northshore Regional Medical Center and was director 
of Community Health at St. Tammany Parish Hospital.

Visitation will be held at Zion Luthern Church, 135 Rio Grande Street, Bogalusa, 
LA 70427 at 9:00 a.m. with a Memorial Service to be held at 11 a.m. The Rev. Bob 
Belknap and Pastor Paul Ernewein will officiate on Saturday, April 16, 2011. 

Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
