HUTZLER, MELVIN RAY 
(November 7, 1946 - April 3, 2011)

Melvin Ray Hutzler passed away Sunday, April 3, 2011. 

He was born November 7, 1946 in Bunkie, LA to the late Oswald Louis and Lucille 
Bellman Hutzler and has been a resident of Covington since 1984.

The beloved husband of Eleanor Soniat Hutzler, he is survived by two daughters, 
Vickie Hutzler Burns and Jennifer Hutzler Humble; one son, Jason Hutzler; two 
sisters, Edna Rogers and Patsy Brignac; two brothers, Oswald and Terry Hutzler; 
12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at 
12:00 Noon on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st 
Ave. Covington, LA 70433.

Visiting hours will begin Tuesday at 10:00 AM.

Private committal rites at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington will take 
place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Most Holy Trinity Catholic 
Church, 4465 Highway 190 East Service Rd. Covington, LA 70433.
