She was 12 years old and a native of Bush, Louisiana. Tabitha was in the 6th grade at Lee Road Junior High and is the beloved daughter of Rebecca Dunaway McLindon and Duncan Kenneth McLindon. She is the sister of Duncan James McLindon and is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather James L. Dunaway and her paternal grandfather Gerald McLindon. She is survived by her maternal grandmother Helen Dunaway, and her paternal grandmother, Agnes McLindon. She is the beloved niece of Kevin and Elizabeth Dunaway Fraley, Steve and Kirstie Dunaway, Mike McLindon, Chris and Jaye McLindon, Whit and Maureen McLindon Huguley, Ann McLindon, Andrew and Julie McLindon, John and Michele McLindon. Adored by her cousins Emily, Jennifer, Jonathan Fraley, Karen and Erin Dunaway; Matthew, Lauren, Rebecca, Amanda, Megan, Bonnie, Camille, Miles, Molly, Britt and Zooey McLindon; Whitfiled, Helena, and Geordie Huguley and Charlie Schenck, She is survived by many friends and people she inspired and she wishes for her legacy to continue. Tabitha was the reigning Washington Parish Junior Miss Rodeo Queen of 2010. Tabitha was a competitive horseman, singer, electric guitar and baritone player. She was a member of the 4-H Club, Liverpool Riding club, Lee Road honor band and the Pilgrim's Rest Church and choir. Services will be held Easter Sunday, April 24 at Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church 20116 Highway 1081 Covington, LA. Viewing will be from 2:30 PM until 5:00 PM, followed by a church service in celebration of Tabitha's life from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
