PONSON

Joseph Albert Ponson, age 93, of Carriere, Miss., passed away Tuesday, April 5, 
2011, at his residence. 

Mr. Ponson was born in Thibodaux, and a resident of Carriere for 33 years. He 
was a Mason for 50 plus years, a lineman for Cleco, and a Baptist.

He is survived by three sons, Joseph (Barbara) Ponson, Jr. of Slidell, Harry 
(Sharon) Morgan of Slidell, and Darryl (Bettie Jo) Morgan of McNeil, Miss.; 
three daughters, Mary (John) Scott of Cantonment, Fla., Lisa Gilliam of Slidell 
and Jennifer (Todd) Ponson Pennington of Carriere. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Rudolph and Amelia Ponson and his wife 
Margie O'Dell Ponson.

Funeral services will be held at at 11 a.m. today at the Picayune Funeral Home 
Chapel, with Brother Bob Hustes officiating. 
Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Mausoleum. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home and Crematory.
