DAVID LEE SMITH, 43, Battalion Chief, St. Tammany Parish Fire Protection 
District 1, on Monday, April 25, 2011.

Father of Brandon Smith and Daphne Daigle;
Son of the late William and Mary Smith;
Brother of Dana Smith, Robin LeBlanc, Bret Reine, and the late Arnold Reine; 
Grandfather of Dylan Michael Smith, and Kolby Shane Daigle; also survived 
nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A native of New Orleans and a resident of Slidell for the past 25 years, he was 
a 23 year veteran of the St. Tammany Parish Fire Protection District #1.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at Northshore Church, 
301 Kensington Blvd, Slidell LA 70458, at 12:00 noon. Friends may visit at the 
church beginning at 10:30am. Burial with honors will be held after the ceremony 
at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Slidell.
