DEANNE R. SPEARS, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2011 at 
Northshore Living Center in Slidell, LA.

Wife of Larry D. Spears. Loving mother of Colleen R. Gladney, Shelli S. Anclade 
and husband E.J., Stephanie R. Brassette and the late Eric P. Gladney. Step-
mother of David Spears and Lisha Ryan. Daughter of the late John C. and Irma 
Kern Dudenhefer. Sister of Doryl Phelps.

Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 1 niece, 2 nephews and 
preceded in death by 1 nephew.

Age 73 years; a native of New Orleans and a resident of Slidell for the past 35 
years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services 
at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), 
Slidell, LA on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 1:00pm. Visitation will be from 
11:00am until 1:00pm. 
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Slidell, LA.
