Ruby Leach Thigpen passed away on Friday, April 15, 2011.

Beloved mother of Wanzie Thigpen Morgan (Paul); loving grandmother of John 
Morgan (Jennifer), Stacey Fletcher (Kenny) and David Morgan (Rachel); and loving 
great-grandmother to Maggie Morgan, Molly Morgan, Ashley Fletcher, Kelly 
Fletcher, Rudd Morgan and Cooper Morgan. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Carey Thigpen; mother, Maude Anthony 
Leach; father, Colman Leach; two sister, Aylean L. Roark and Joy Leach; and two 
brothers, Hoy Leach and Coleman John Leach.

Age 94 years, she was a native of Many, LA, a former resident of Baton Rouge for 
some 40 years, Franklinton for some 20 years and the remainder of her life in 
Covington.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at 
First Baptist Church of Mandeville, 1895 Hwy 190, Mandeville, LA. 70448 on 
Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 11:00 AM.

Visitation AT THE CHURCH on Thursday will beginning at 9:00 AM.

Interment will follow in Springhill Magee Cemetery in Franklinton.
