BURLEY

Alice G. Burley, age 77 of Perkinston, Miss., passed away Thursday May 26, 2011.

She was a police officer, registered nurse, waitress, and a cook for many years.

She is survived by eight children, Florene Driver, Evalena Byers, Vanessa 
Burley, Charles Lee Burley, Jr., Edwin Paul Burley, William Read Burley, Darren 
Eugene Burley, and James Ray Burley; her adopted son Ray Foster, and numerous 
grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband 
Charles Lee Burley, Sr.; her parents John and Madge Cooledge; one daughter 
Bertha Burley; two sisters Bertha Green, and Irene Woods and her brother Louis 
Bert Cooledge.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow from the chapel of D.T. 
Williams Funeral Home, 67525 Hwy 41 Pearl River. Visitation will be held on 
Monday from 10 a.m. until service time.

Interment to follow at Hickory Memorial Gardens, located at Williams Funeral 
Home. Brother Pat Callahan will officiate.
