WILLIE 'BILL' MORRIS CARTER,SR. of Slidell, LA passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 
2011.

Beloved Husband of Joyce Bourgeois Carter.

Father of Barbara K. Johns(Ray), Debra Lynn Grabert(Tod), Willie M. Carter,Jr., 
Roy Doug Carter,Sr.(Bridget).
Brother of the late Roy Carter and Maudine Carter.

Also survived by his grandchildren, Carl Spell, Jaycie Warner, William Leonard, 
T.J. Leonard, Kari Carter, Erin Carter, Makaela Smith, Kimberly Carter, Roy 
Carter, Jr. and Whitney Carter, eight great grandchildren. 

Age 83 years, a native of Quitman, La., and a longtime resident of Slidell. 
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII as a radio technician. 
He was a Supervisor employed by Highlines Construction Company for 46 years. 

He was a longtime member of Church of Christ in Slidell and a 32nd degree Mason.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services 
at the Church of Christ, 994 Old Spanish Trail, Slidell, La. on Thursday, May 
19, 2011 at 8:00 P.M.

Visitation at the church on Thursday evening from 5:00 P.M. until funeral time.

Interment will be on Friday, May 20, 2011 at 12:30 p.m., in Biloxi National 
Cemetery, Biloxi,MS. 

Donations to Churches of Christ Disaster Relief, Inc., 410 Allied Drive, 
Nashville, TN 37211, 1-888-541-2848 preferred, in lieu of flowers.
