Mr. Dabdoub was born in LaCeiba, Honduras, and was a resident of Slidell since 1956. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Helen McNab Dabdoub; three children: Dr. Paul O. Dabdoub (wife Lorrie Shell), Jackie Dabdoub Marcussen (husband Charley Marcussen Jr.), and Dr. Billy Dabdoub (wife Teresa Pearson); one brother: Anthony Dabdoub; grandchildren: Desiree H. Dabdoub, John Kelly Dabdoub, Paul J. Dabdoub, Angela Celeste Hart, Kristy D. Dabdoub, Katie T. Dabdoub, and Brett W. Dabdoub; seven great-grandchildren: Victoria Dabdoub, Jadyn Dabdoub, Baileigh Dabdoub, Nikolas Dabdoub, Amber Hart, Alexis Hart, Will Hart, and Beau Hart. He was preceded in death by his parents: Abraham and Mary Dabdoub, a grandson: Damon William Marcussen; brothers: Joseph Dabdoub, Peter Dabdoub, Paul Dabdoub, Michael Dabdoub, Phillip Dabdoub, and one sister: Amelia Kawas. Jack was a civilian maritime radio operator for Tropical Radio from World War II until his retirement in 1973. After retirement, he worked on the Hughes Glomar Explorer and worked for Global Marine until 1980. He was the bass guitarist for Ridge Memorial Baptist Church in Slidell, an avid musician, and a licensed preacher known to many as "Chap Jack". Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, in Slidell LA. Friends may also visit at the Funeral Home on Thursday beginning at 11:00am. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Slidell. ===================
