MANUEL DARBY, 67, of Slidell, LA on Wednesday, May 11, 2011.

Beloved Husband of the late Carol Ann Pravata Darby;
Father of Kenneth Darby (wife Colleen), Jennifer Darby Barousse (husband Joe), 
and Karen Annette Darby(Ronnie);
Son of the late Archie and Myra Darby;
Brother of Sidney Darby and the late David Darby; Also survived by nine 
grandchildren: Brittany, Joshua, Ashley, Brandon, Austin, Shelby, Annika, 
Breanne, and Myah; also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, his dear 
companion Karen King Ezell, and best friends: Brutus, Chloe, Heidi, and Bella.

A native of Brewton, Alabama, and a longtime resident of Slidell. Mr. Darby was 
the owner/operator of Northside Tire Center in Slidell, and an avid race car 
driver and drag racer.

Relatives, friends of the family, members of the Goodtimes Race Car Club in 
Slidell, American Legion Post in Slidell, are invited to attend the funeral. 
Funeral Services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN 
FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 1:00 P.M.

Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00pm until 9:00pm.

Burial will be in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.
