He was born Dec, 25, 1933, to Cronie and Nellie Heath, (both deceased). He was preceded in death by a brother, Harlan Heath. Darvin grew up in Anniston, Ala., and enlisted in the U.S. Navy at an early age where he advanced to the rank of Petty Officer First Class. After residing in Florida for 19 years, he moved his family in 1978 to Pearl River. There he was employed by the Stennis Space Center in Picayune, Miss., until his retirement in January 1996. Darvin is survived by his wife of 52 years, Inez Gillie Heath; daughter Pamela Joyner and her husband Albert, of Bluefield, W. Va., son, Lee Heath of Anniston, Ala,, daughter, Terry Heath of Pearl River, son Darvin Randall Heath and his wife, Bonnie of Pearl River, and sister, Frances Vinson and her husband, Clarence of Anniston, Ala., and sister-in-law, Violet Heath of Guntersville, Ala. He also leaves 11 grand children and 15 great-grandchildren. Services were held yesterday at D.T. Williams Funeral Home, Pearl River. Interment was in Pearl Hickory Cemetery, Pearl River. ===================
