Ogea passed away on Monday, May 9, 2011 at her Covington, LA residence. Beloved wife of 58 years to Francis A. Ogea; loving mother of Reggie Ogea (Vicki) and Cathy O. Moore (Kelvin); grandmother to Aaron Ogea (Christy), Amy Ogea Smith (Ian), Andrew Ogea (Amy), Megan Moore and Bailey Moore; great- grandmother to Zoe Smith, Emily Ogea, Peyton Ogea, Macy Ogea and Ellie Ogea; and sister of Harold H. Hoelzer. She was preceded in death by her mother, Clara Broussard Hoelzer; and her father, Fred I. Hoelzer. Age 77 years, she was a native of Choupique (Sulphur), LA and a resident of Covington, LA for the past 7 years. She was a Calcasieu Parish educator for 27 years and after her retirement she served with her husband for 6 years as a Voluntary Missionary in Southern Africa with the Southern Baptist International Mission Board. She was a very active member of Choupique Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Covington. Her hobby was her avid love for sewing. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at First Baptist Church of Covington, 16333 Hwy 1085, Covington, LA 70433 on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 12:00 Noon. A wake will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433. Visitation on Thursday, May 12, 2011 will be held at First Baptist Church of Covington beginning at 10:00 AM. Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Sulphur, LA. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to First Baptist Church of Covington Building Fund, 16333 Highway 1085, Covington, LA 70433, or the New Orleans Theological Seminary/Sanders Center for Ministry Excellence, ===================
