Beloved husband of 56 years to Josephine Platania Parr. Loving father of Debra Parr Bjorling, Susan Parr Brown, Cynthia Parr Pirozzi and Dr. Allan Thomas Parr, Jr. Son of the late Neva Bell Parr and Walter Henry Parr. Brother of Robert Parr. Loving grandfather of Jon-Eric Bjorling, Neil Pirozzi, Kristin Parr, Josephine Brown, Allan Parr, III, Nicole Pirozzi, Alex Bjorling, Eric Brown, Jr., Scott Pirozzi and Jessica Pirozzi. He was a native of Brooklyn, NY, a longtime resident of Robbinsville, NJ and Mandeville, LA for the past three years. He was a Commercial Construction Superintendent for 50 years and also a Deacon at St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church in Hamilton Square, NJ for 30 years. Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ 08690 on Friday, May 27, 2011at 11:00 AM with visitation at church on Thursday from 2:00 P M until 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM until 9:30PM. Interment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mr. Parr be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Arrangements are incomplete and have been entrusted to E.J. Fielding Funeral Home. ===================
