Harold Thomas Prestenbach passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2011.

Beloved husband of 60 years of Shirley Shields Prestenbach; loving father of 
Harold Prestenbach, Jr. and his wife Diana, Linda P. Waller and the late June P. 
Hurst; brother to Rita Mae Branch, Robert Prestenbach and Raymond Prestenbach; 
and grandfather to Tanya, Diane, Phillip, Tammy, Harold Lee and Tim. He was also 
survived by 17 great-grandchildren. Besides his daughter, he was preceded in 
death by his mother, Eve Ponteuex Prestenbach; his father, Thomas Paul 
Prestenbach; a sister, Beverly Savoy; and a brother, Thomas Prestenbach.

Age 79 years, he was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Maurepas, LA 
for the past three years. He was a heavy equipment operator with Boh Bros 
Construction for 52 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 
the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 
70433 on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 11:00 AM.

A wake will be held on Friday, May 6, 2011 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM; with visitation 
on Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time.

Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to the American Lung 
Association,
