Beloved Husband of Betty Shadrick Billiot Father of Phyllis Billiot Hernandez(Michael) Brother of Milton Billiot, Eula Guidry, Anita Perkins(Landis), Rita DeSalvo(Pete), Vivian Wilson(Tommy), Alvin Billiot(Rose), Mary Jean Dufrene(Sergent), Jerry Billiot, Carolyn Billiot, Jimmie Billiot(Vickie). Kirby Billiot(Sue), the late Hilda B. Rodriguez and Wilda Billiot. Also survived by 2 grandchildren, Michael Hernandez,Jr. , Bryan Hernandez(Rachel), 1 great grandchild, Mason Hernandez, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, his buddy,"Beaujax", all of whom he dearly loved. Age 87 years. A native of Morgan City, a long time resident of Lake Catherine and a member of the Ft. Pike Volunteer Fire Department. He served in the U.S. Army in WWII in the 28th Recon Division. He was a member of the Boilermakers Union #37 for over 60 years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener and cook. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Saturday, June 3, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. Visitation on Saturday after 12:00 O'clock Noon until funeral time.
